On Thur-Fri Feb 11-12 2010, the Dallas-Fort Worth area got a record snow fall. By some accounts we received around nine inches of snow! --- BUT --- we were in San Antonio for Melina's annual music teacher convention, so we missed the big day of fresh snow. We got home on Saturday afternoon, and there was still quite a bit of snow despite a couple days of 40 degree weather. So we just HAD to go out and play in it, and make a rather nice snowman. That's the first real snowman I've made in more than 25 years.
